Emerging filmmakers: apply now for STORYHIVE Voices to receive $10K in production grants

Take the next step in your career with the 2021 STORYHIVE Voices program!

STORYHIVE is looking to fund emerging content creators who want to grow their skills, impact and audience through training and community support.

To be eligible, applicants must be emerging content creators from British Columbia or Alberta with an idea for a screen-based project with six episodes or more. Applicants will pitch their idea to a selection committee for the chance to receive a $10K production grant.

Each successful applicant will produce and deliver their project, with a minimum of six episodes and a maximum of 10 episodes (minimum of 150 minutes).

STORYHIVE will host an Ask Us Anything webinar about the program on Wednesday, October 13 at 11 a.m. PST. Register for the webinar now.

Alumni films stream at Reelworld Film Festival

Reelworld Film Festival

Congratulations to the alumni whose films stream online at the Reelworld Film Festival.

Reelworld Film Festival runs from October 20 to 27, featuring BIPOC filmmakers from Canada at all levels. The festival will stream over 13 features, 26 short films and many panel discussions online, with select events in-person.
