Congratulations to the alumni selected to participate in the Whistler Film Festival (WFF) Indigenous Filmmaker Fellowship.

This six month creative and business immersion program focuses on strengthening and advancing short-form scripted projects for emerging Indigenous filmmakers and content creators in Canada.

The selected alumni and their projects are:

Each participant will receive high-level strategic advice and feedback on their scripts and projects from established content creators, producers and industry professionals with a focus on creative development, marketing and distribution.

Register now for BIPOC TV & FILM’s virtual CBC Open House

BIPOC TV & FILM CBC Open House

BIPOC TV & FILM is hosting a virtual networking event, CBC Open House, connecting film and TV creatives who identify as Black, Indigenous or a Person of Colour (BIPOC) directly with decision makers and production executives at the national broadcaster.

BIPOC creatives are invited to attend this virtual open house – formatted as 10:1 group conversations – to expand their networks and increase their access to opportunities at CBC.

This free event runs from October 26 to 28, with meetings featuring CBC Docs, CBC Short Docs, Factual Entertainment, CBC Podcasts, CBC Gem and more.
