The BANFF World Media Festival takes place next week from June 9 – 12. This year marks the festival’s 45th anniversary which will host an international marketplace of over 50 countries. The festival, nestled in the Rockies, brings together the world’s top creators, producers, showrunners, talent, networks, studios, streamers, press and media companies.

Since 2018, the Netflix Banff Diversity of Voices Initiative has provided a platform for industry professionals from underrepresented communities. We are proud to see, and applaud, the many National Screen Institute alumni involved in the Indigenous Screen Summit Pitch Forum, Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative and nominated for Rockie Awards!
