Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL August 25, 2017 Patience |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY James 5:10-11 "Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY Thomas S. Monson "Life is full of difficulties, some minor and others of a more serious nature. There seems to be an unending supply of challenges for one and all. Our problem is that we often expect instantaneous solutions to such challenges, forgetting that frequently the heavenly virtue of patience is required" ("Patience---A Heavenly Virtue," Ensign, November 1995). |
