1841 - The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles send out an epistle calling on all the Saints "scattered abroad" to gather to Nauvoo and the surrounding area to build up Zion.
1842 - The Prophet Joseph meets with the Quorum of the Twelve and calls upon them, and missionaries called on missions, to travel and counteract the falsehoods being presented by John C. Bennett and ex-governor Boggs of Missouri. Each traveling Elder would be given a tract, or pamphlet, to help in their work of presenting the truth to the public. (History of the Church, 5:131-132)
1883 - The first permanent branch of the Church among the Maori of New Zealand was organized at Papawai.
1923 - The Cardston Alberta Temple was dedicated by President Heber J. Grant.
1962 - The first stake was organized in Scotland at Glasgow.
2000 - The Houston Texas Temple was dedicated by President Gordon B. Hinckley.
