SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY
Revelation 21:6-7

"And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."

Lorenzo Snow
QUOTE OF THE DAY
Lorenzo Snow

"If a father were to say to his son, 'My son, be faithful, and follow my counsels, and when you become of age you shall inherit all that I possess,' it would mean something, would it not? If the father told the truth, that son would have something to encourage him to be faithful. Did Jesus want to deceive us when He made use of this expression? I will assure you that there is no deception in the language. He meant precisely what He said" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Lorenzo Snow, p. 87).

Question of the Day

Q: Peter Whitmer, Sr. is mentioned in D&C 14: Introduction; 21: Introduction; 34: Introduction; 128:21.  How many children did Peter and his wife, Mary, have, and how many of them became witnesses to the Book of Mormon?  How important was Peter Whitmer, Sr.'s home in Fayette, New York, to the Prophet Joseph and the beginning days of the Church?
