Life's Mission and Purpose
Thank You!!!

I am very grateful for the many messages received since my email explaining why the Daily Devotional had not been sent for a few days.  I so appreciate the many kind words and prayers and encouragement that have been expressed.  It has been wonderful to read how this little email has been such a positive voice in your lives and I hope it will continue to do so for many years to come.  I am recovering and hope your kindness and prayers will increase the speed of recovery and encourage me to continue to serve where I am able to.  Look for some wonderful changes over the next few months as Latter Day Light will continue to grow and share the Gospel.  I thank you once again!

QUOTE OF THE DAY
Wilford Woodruff

"Now, the peculiarity of His mission, and that which distinguished it from other missions, was this: He came not to seek the glory and honor of men, but to seek the honor and glory of His Father, and to accomplish the work of His Father who sent Him. Herein lay the secret of His prosperity; and herein lies the secret of the prosperity of every individual who works upon the same principle" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Lorenzo Snow, p. 279).
