QUOTE OF THE DAY
Joseph Fielding Smith

"If there is any one thing that brings joy and peace and satisfaction to the heart of man, beyond anything else that I know of, it is the abiding testimony which I have, and which you have, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That is a truth that cannot be changed" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Fielding Smith, p. 54).

LDS QUOTE MEMES

This quote is from the Elder Ballard with a photo from the his recent visit to Wellington, New Zealand.

The month of August 1830 brought several trying experiences for both Joseph and Emma. She was in the early stages of pregnancy and was not feeling well. The animosity of her family was increasing, and the spirit of persecution was also increasing in Harmony and surrounding communities. It was becoming increasingly obvious to Joseph and Emma that they would have to move elsewhere and leave Harmony forever.
