We have added a new section to our website-- Memes!   We recently posted a meme from President Nelson from 1990 and it was viewed more than 4,750 times.  That made us think, "Hey, we ought to put this on our website, too!"  So we did!

As the date for the organization of the Church drew near, the Prophet Joseph invited all of those who had been baptized or were interested in the Church to meet at the Whitmer home. In the first week of April 1830, Joseph traveled from his home in Harmony to Fayette. 



Ra Potaka is a good, kind, and gentle man.  He was serving in the Waitara Branch presidency and always had an encouraging and supportive word for us as missionaries.  When I arrived in Waitara the first part of November, 1980, his wife was less active, and his youngest son had not yet been baptized.

1912 - Church member Alma Richards, representing the United States, wins a gold medal in the high jump at the Olympic Games held in Sweden.  He is the first Latter-day Saint to win an Olympic medal.
