Best Medicine Brigade produces Operation HEAL*ARIOUS: America's Funniest Veterans & Military Spouses Competition! Come cheer on 5 comics as they compete in this semi-final round to go onto Hollywood for the finale! This is not your average comedy show! Robin Phoenix produces a comedy experience that includes DJ Dank Williams and performances by Stan Shelby, Sherri Priester, and Ashley Gutermuth! A portion of ticket sales will be donated to HEAL*ARIOUS, a non-profit that provides free therapeutic humor programs to improve psychological performance and mental health.

Steven Ho

Derrick Stroup

Alabama native Derrick Stroup is not your average slow talking Southerner. With the cadence of an angry auctioneer, he engages his audiences with his detailed stories, over the top energy and southern charm.

Since leaving home for Denver in 2015 to chase his dreams of stand-up comedy, Derrick has become a regular opener for the likes of John Crist and Josh Blue. He also won one of the biggest comedy contest in the country in 2019 at the World-Famous Comedy Works in Denver. This well-respected competition has over 250 entries each year. Robert Powell

Robert Powell III is a stand-up comedian and political satirist. Born in Monroe, Louisiana Robert attended University of Louisiana at Monroe before getting his Masters’ degree in Political Science from Texas Christian University. During his 5 years at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Robert worked for an Assistant to Dr Jeff Hood, Dr Gloria George, Dr Lisa Miller & ultimately President James Cofer.

Jack Williams

Most recently Jack earned a top five semi-finals spot on Americas got Talent season 17.  Jack has worked as a ventriloquist for 12 years performing in clubs and theaters across the country, going on to showcase his talent in the Los Angeles club circuit. Jack went viral for showing off how he could "delay" his voice while speaking, mouthing the words at the start, with the voice following a few seconds later. He can currently be watched on

Phil Hanley

​ Originally from Vancouver, Phil Hanley is a stand-up, actor, and writer who’s a

regular at NYC’s renowned Comedy Cellar. He has performed stand-up on The

Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show, The Pete Holmes Show, and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show on Comedy Central. His half-hour special can be seen on Comedy Central and iTunes. Phil can be seen starring in the film “Sundowners” alongside Tim Heidecker and in Amy Schumer’s “I Feel Pretty”. His album, “Please Don’t Chit Chat While I’m Pursuing My Dream,” was released in 2018.

Jay Jurden

Jay Jurden is a New York based comedian, writer and actor. Originally from Mississippi, Jay regularly performs comedy all over the country and is currently a Staff Writer for Apple TV+'s The Problem With Jon Stewart.

Jay has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon twice and has also been seen on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central FeaturingThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and HBO’s High Maintenance.

Kerwin Claiborne

Kerwin Claiborne has just begun a new comedy production called “Thees W@#$ Folks Crazy” which has sold out many venues thus far. Kerwin’s hard work and eager approach to his craft have successfully launched him to stardom. Sam Morrison

Sam Morrison is just another hack NYC based gay diabetic widow comedian. His acclaimed solo show SUGAR DADDY premiered Off Broadway earlier this year following a successful run at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival and is about to begin an encore engagement at the SoHo Playhouse. Within the show, which was recently declared “The best new show in NYC” by The Daily Beast and received great praise from The New York Times, Sam grapples with the death of his partner and grief hilariously and sentimentally through tales of love, diabetes and seagull attacks.

As a stand up, Sam has recently performed on The Drew Barrymore Show, as well as some of the prestigious showcases in the country, such as The Stand-Up NBC Finals, The Tonight Show Showcase, and RuPaul's DragCon.
