Publishers, storytellers, and media companies have developed new platforms, audiences, formats, and technologies for how the written—and spoken—word is to be produced, distributed, and consumed in the 21st century.
Since its inception, our program has evolved to meet the changing landscape of publishing. The curriculum integrates print and digital publishing, including editing, acquisitions, copyright and permissions, marketing and distribution, business and management, entrepreneurship, design, and production, with examples from trade, scholarly and academic, children's and young adults, graphic novels, audio, and other publishing sectors and specialties.
