#1  Medical Device Suppliers Hit Philips Respironics with Class Action
Glenside, PA Philips is hit again with a class action lawsuit, but this time medical device makers join thousands of consumers who filed complaints over the defective sleep apnea machines alleged to cause cancers and respiratory injuries. Baird Respiratory Therapy, Inc., filed in March 2022 a class action lawsuit against Philips in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, seeking to represent durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers nationwide who purchased Philips’ recalled breathing machines.

#2  Mark Zuckerberg and wife Granted Arbitration in Unpaid Wages and Discrimination Claims
San Francisco, CA Contracts signed by the former security operations assistant and household operations manager of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan contained clear arbitration clauses, according to San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Ulmer. The decision involves lawsuits filed by two former household workers who allege sexual harassment, racial discrimination and a hostile work environment in their lawsuits filed last September.

The plaintiff, Paula Noone, allegedly suffered her theme park injury while on a Coney Island roller coaster in 2008.

#9  Seroquel Side Effects for the Elderly
Pearblossom, CA Seroquel is a neuroleptic indicated for the treatment of bipolar disorder—and like most drugs carries a host of Seroquel side effects, including diabetes, tardive dyskinesia and even birth defects. However, there is a little-known use for Seroquel off-label that concerned the daughter of one Alzheimer's patient for whom she was caring.
