Take Lisinopril, for instance. It is one of the most widely prescribed drugs in the US, and it also has the potential to harm a lot of people.
#6 Lisinopril Associated with Many Serious Side Effects, Including Angioedema and Liver DamageHouston, TXLisinopril, used to treat hypertension, congestive heart failure and heart attack, is associated with many side effects including liver damage. Beverly was diagnosed with angioedema (which can be life-threatening) as a direct result of Lisinopril, according to her hospital doctors.
#7 Maker Of “Neuro” Drinks Agrees To Pay $500,000 In Fines and Restitution Neurobrands LLC, the Santa Monica-based maker of the “Neuro” line of drinks, has agreed to a permanent court injunction that requires it to change its marketing practices. The company will also pay $500,000 in penalties and restitution as part of a settlement with local prosecutors.

Apparently, it's possible with statins or medication like Zetia when used in combination with a statin. Statins are designed to lower the "bad" cholesterol thought to be a contributing factor for heart attack and stroke, while leaving the so-called "good" cholesterol to do the good work that good cholesterol, ultimately, does.

#10 The Whistleblower and H&M Unused Gift Cards - $36 Million SettlementNew York, NY A whistleblower is getting a big payout after he filed a lawsuit under the New York False Claims Act, accusing H&M of keeping millions of dollars in unused funds from its gift cards. Rather than transferring unredeemed gift card balances to the Abandoned Property Fund as the law stipulates, H&M lied about an out-of-state company handling its gift cards business. But H&M didn’t count on the whistleblower: greed ultimately cost the fashion retailer $36 million—from keeping about $18.4 million in unused gift cards. Clearly, deception doesn’t pay when the whistle is blown.
