#1  Employee Stock Ownership Lawsuit Unmasks Brazen Corporate Fraud
Riverside, CA The allegations made in Gamino v. KPC Healthcare are pretty lurid, especially as ERISA lawsuits go. Even apart from the loaded handgun and the slashed tires, the Complaint tells a tale of shocking financial malfeasance.

PAGA Claims Survive Dismissal of California Labor Code Violations
#2  PAGA Claims Survive Dismissal of California Labor Code Violations
San Francisco, CA On June 26, the California Court of Appeals held that an employee could continue his state Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claim even after settling his California Labor Code lawsuit. Linehan-Clodfelter v. Vivint, Inc. closely follows the reasoning of the recent California Supreme Court decision in Kim v. Reins Internat. California, Inc. Kim was widely seen as strengthening employee efforts to curb employer wage and hour abuse through PAGA, especially for workers who, daunted by the risks of arbitrating wage claims, have taken a settlement offer instead. #7  Lisinopril Suspected As Cause of Death
Buffalo, NY A negative impact on liver function is not amongst the more common Lisinopril side effects. Be that as it may, some patients taking the oft-prescribed treatment for high blood pressure have experienced Lisinopril liver damage, including a woman who posted to a blog in late 2010 that her (acute liver failure) was caused "by a blood pressure medicine called Lisinopril," Jennifer Roberts wrote in October of that year, by way of a post to the blog transplantcafe.com. "(Lisinopril) shut my liver down within six weeks."
