#1  UPS Facing Multiple Employee Lawsuits, Employees Feeling Pressured
Riverside, CA UPS Supply Chain Solutions employees filed a class action lawsuit claiming the company failed to pay overtime wages, failed to pay minimum wages, failed to provide required meal breaks and rest periods and other violations of the California labor law. This lawsuit is currently pending in the Riverside County Superior Court, Case No. RIC2000727.

#6  Bard Hernia Mesh Bellwether Trial Posptoned
Columbus, OH Having been delayed three times now, the first C.R. Bard hernia mesh lawsuit is slated for April 19, 2021. The bellwether jury trial has been centralized before U.S. District Judge Edmund A. Sargus in the Southern District of Ohio. At issue is that Bard and its subsidiary Davol knew and when they knew about their defective hernia mesh.

#7  Lisinopril Associated with Many Serious Side Effects, Including Angioedema and Liver Damage
Houston, TXLisinopril, used to treat hypertension, congestive heart failure and heart attack, is associated with many side effects including liver damage. Beverly was diagnosed with angioedema (which can be life-threatening) as a direct result of Lisinopril, according to her hospital doctors.

Santa Clara, CA Bayer needs to cough up more cash to settle Monsanto Roundup current and future lawsuits. While its current legal bill covers most of the Roundup claims, future Roundup cancer lawsuits have not yet been settled.

Los Angeles, CA Who is minding the store? 7-Eleven franchisees say they aren’t; they claim that Seven-Eleven, Inc. is in complete control and treats them like “glorified managers” rather than business owners. The franchise owners say they have been misclassified as independent contractors rather than employees. At the heart of this matter is the AB5 law.

#10  Seroquel Side Effects for the Elderly
Pearblossom, CA Seroquel is a neuroleptic indicated for the treatment of bipolar disorder—and like most drugs carries a host of Seroquel side effects, including diabetes, tardive dyskinesia and even birth defects. However, there is a little-known use for Seroquel off-label that concerned the daughter of one Alzheimer's patient for whom she was caring.
