A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. Lawyers are among the 45 activists that Hong Kong's high court has sentenced to spend years in prison for violating China's national security law. Meanwhile in law firm news, the outlook for the top 50 U.S. firms is good: Many expect to see double-digit profit growth by year-end. And in Belgium and the Netherlands, firms are cautiously optimistic about the next 12 months. We're also following partner promotions, looking at Simpson Thacher and Hengeler Mueller.
