A Message From the Editor

Good morning. Today we're covering the continued struggles law firms and their clients face as a result of US-China frictions, including news that Weil Gotshal has joined a growing list of firms that have shuttered offices and reduced their presence in mainland China. Also, Freshfields joins several other law firms pressuring lawyers in the U.S. to work in the office four days a week -- a sign that the work-from-home trend is fading. And yet another law firm signs on to partner with the generative AI platform Harvey.
