CMS will hold a call to discuss the SNF Value-Based Purchasing Program (VBP) review and corrections process on Wednesday, March 20, 1:30-3pm, ET. During the Review and Corrections period, SNFs have an opportunity to review and submit correction requests to quality measure information. Deadline for correction submission is April 1, 2019. NAHRI is currently seeking speakers to present at the 2019 Revenue Integrity Symposium (RIS), to be held October 15–16, 2019, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. We seek speakers to present on all aspects of revenue integrity, Medicare compliance, and the revenue cycle in acute care and long-term care settings. NAHRI will waive admission fees to the 2019 Revenue Integrity Symposium for all selected speakers and co-speakers.

A CMS MLN Matters article released February 15 announced that the agency will suppress payments associated with requests for anticipated payment (RAP) for all new home health agencies (HHA) nationwide for 30 days to 1 year. All new HHAs will not receive RAPs as part of their billing process during the period of time they are in the provisional period of enhanced oversight. Each new HHA will receive individual notice of how long RAPs will be suppressed.
