After graduating Art Center College of Design in Pasadena Frank Ordaz started his career working for George Lucas on such Oscar winning films as ET, Return of the Jedi and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom as a matte painter. He also has an Emmy for his contribution for "The Ewok Adventure".
Looking for other adventures and ever restless, Frank embarked on a new career and became an accomplished illustrator. A highlight was being featured as the White House artist for the 2006 Easter Egg Roll Event. He also has taught painting at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco as well as numerous portrait workshops.
Frank is represented at Nancy Dodds Gallery, Carmel Ca.; Mountain Trails Gallery Santa Fe, NM; Art Obsessions Gallery, Truckee CA; and Red House Art Gallery, Graeagle CA.
