A congressional mandate may change the way hospitals view provider-based departments. In recent years, hospitals have moved services off-campus due to the value of hospital space or for patient convenience, but a bill concerning these departments could lead to hospitals instead partnering with freestanding clinics for financial reasons.

During this program, expert speaker Kimberly A. H. Baker, JD, CPC, breaks down the differences between provider-based and freestanding locations and helps you gauge the financial impact of the bill on hospitals, assisting you in determining what changes could take place in 2016 and 2017.
