An easy way to enhance revenue integrity

One of the best ways to enhance revenue integrity is to identify and address causes of denials. The most common denial reasons include:

Incorrect or incomplete patient identifier information
Services requiring prior authorization or precertification
Requests for medical records not fulfilled in a timely manner
Missing or invalid CPT®/HCPCS codes, or incorrect use of modifiers
Lack of medical necessity
