During this workshop, we will use the principles of student-centered course design to discuss how instructors can design assessments that reflect their course goals, consider how to scaffold assignments, minimize cheating, and take student well-being into account. Participants will be able to share what has worked for them and discuss opportunities to design assessments beyond the traditional high-stakes exam or final paper.
