We're thrilled to today bring you another taste of 'ALBUM No.8' with the release of Leaving The Mountain, the third track to be shared from Katie's forthcoming record. The song was inspired by a trip that Katie and her father took to the Caucasus mountains by the Black Sea. "It was a moment of pure contentment, but there's a necessary sadness to those moments too. We were listening to a playlist of songs mentioned in the Bob Dylan book, Chronicles Vol. 1, and looking at this amazing scenery - and, in all likelihood, we knew that we'd probably never get around to experiencing it together again." You can stream and download the track here. |
