#BlueLivesMatter | #AllLivesMatter Rally in Redlands on Oct. 9! Patriots! We are fed up with the left's attacks against the police officers who keep our property and lives safe! We're so ticked off that we will be holding our first-ever "Blue Lives Matter" rally in downtown Redlands on this Friday, Oct. 9, to express our support and appreciation for Inland Empire law enforcement. From Ferguson to Baltimore, the left has been seizing, conflating, and obfuscating every incident --true, half-true and even the completely bogus--as part of their overall "war on cops." Their crusade to intimidate police is directly responsible for the recent and skyrocketing crime rates in major US cities. Their crusade has also encouraged violence against police officers themselves such as the recent ambushes and executions of police officers in Texas, Illinois and Las Vegas. We realize police agencies, like any large organization, are going to have unfortunate incidents and a few bad apples. (Locally, we remember Colton Police stomping on our free speech rights when we protested at Joe Biden's campaign stop in 2014.) We realize police officers carry a gun and badge on behalf of the government. They have awesome power when they investigate crimes [or when they pull us over for speeding]. We realize cops need a strong oversight authority. We get all that. But what we don't get is the left is mischaracterizing every incident and rolling them into their larger "war on cops" narrative. As a society, we all lose when cops are afraid to do their jobs. (Remember the massive New York City march caught shouting on tape: "Dead cops! When do we want them? Now!" Or how about the "Pigs in a blanket, fry like bacon!" Remember that one?) We've had enough! If you have had enough as well, then please come to the corners of Redlands Boulevard and Orange Avenue from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday. Bring your flags and signs to express your support for all Inland Empire law enforcement! Our point is to show the Friday evening rush hour traffic that the people of Redlands and surrounding communities support our police officers. It's like this: It's easy to casually say "oh sure, of course I support the police" and then do nothing about it, but you have to be willing to actually show your support. This Friday is your chance! Talk is cheap; action is everything. Our great Patriot activist and cabinet member Richard Marshall thought of and organized this wonderful and timely event. So far, we know of at least two local media outlets who will be covering the rally live. Here is the initial story from Saturday's Redland Daily Facts. Please see and share the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1691064627796532/ and the event flyer: http://redlandsteaparty.net/RTP/all-lives-matter-rally-october-9/ Tea Party presidential endorsement coming! We oh so wish we had a quarter every time somebody asked us who the "tea party" will endorse for president (if we did, we could give Trump a run for his, well, "money"). At this point, we don't have Trump's money, but we may soon have a presidential endorsement! The Tea Party Patriots, of which the Redlands Tea Party Patriots are a chapter, will likely soon have its members vote on a presidential pick. You can vote as long as your enrolled (no cost) with the Tea Party Patriots. (No enrollment = no vote) Exactly how this process will work should soon be announced soon. A presidential endorsement, from the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, could come before Thanksgiving. Tea Party Patriots have more members than the number of people who will vote in the Iowa caucus or New Hampshire primary. And after you enroll, check out our site! We have information -- talking points, research, training videos, etc. -- on many subjects. Also check out the new Yellow Card Project, which is designed to keep presidential candidates focused on the topics they should, ranging from repealing Common Core and Obamacare to getting tax reform and fighting amnesty. Redlands Crazy Train and new general plan that seeks to "fundamentally transform" Redlands. Kudos to our friends at the Inland Empire Transit Alliance, who are doing yeomen's work fighting the Rail to Redlands $450 million boondoggle! Several of its members met at the General Plan Committee at the University of Redlands this last week. It's clear that the Redlands city planners are determined to give us a train and Agenda 21 (renamed Agenda 2030) including high density housing and trying to force us out of our cars because they know what's good for us (despite the reality that few will ride and still fewer even want.) According to our Patriot activists who attended: Public comments were met with disdain and arrogance. After waiting for 2 1/2 hours for public comments placed at the end of the meeting, the Redlands citizens who patiently waited to speak were allowed only 1 minute. While the City says they want public input in the proposed new general plan, do they really? Will the citizens committee be a "rubber stamp" for the city planners, Councilman Jon Harrison's and Mayor Foster's "sustainable" Agenda 21 vision to "fundamentally transform" Redlands? "Social and environmental justice" aka Agenda 21 (renamed Agenda 2030) aka "Sustainability" is a primary driver of the City's proposed new general plan. There were no costs assigned to all the "great ideas." In fact, a committee member said that the plan needed to be completed and costs considered later. The only mention of public safety was by one of our patriot activists. While they talked favorably about business, we know "social and environmental justice" aka Agenda 21 (renamed Agenda 2030) aka "Sustainability" is a far left, anti business, anti free enterprise, anti freedom, anti property rights agenda dedicated to undermining our republic and the people's control of their government through unelected "regional government." They claimed the reason for widespread opposition to the Redlands Rail Project boondoggle is that it has not been explained to the public correctly. We are sure that with better "explanation," the people of Redlands would love the idea of 50 trains per day rolling through Redlands costing [even assuming SANBAG'S numbers are right] >$300,000 per estimated rider to build and $10,000 per year per estimated rider to operate. We are equally sure that with better "explanation," the people of Redlands will love "social and environmental justice," more high density and low income housing, and taking the bus instead of driving their cars. Edmond Burke said and is often quoted: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Similarly, the only thing necessary for Agenda 21 to triumph, is for patriots and lovers of liberty, prosperity, the free enterprise system and property rights to do nothing. Here are important links to help get involved and take control of our city and our general plan: IE Transit Alliance: https://www.facebook.com/groups/IETransitAlliance/ Don't Fundamentally Transform Redlands: https://www.facebook.com/groups/DontFundamentallyTransformRedlands/135080390177155/?comment_id=135083923510135&ref=notif¬if_t=group_comment The City's website re: the new general plan: http://www.redlands2035.org/home.html Speaking about keeping Redlands bureaucrats on their toes... ...Redlands Townhall is going to appear at Tuesday's Redlands City Council meeting to discuss the possible resettlement of Syrian refugees in the Redlands area. (And when we say "refugees," we're talking mostly unvetted military age males whether they're from Syria or not or and whether they're actual refugees but rather jihad members looking to get inside the United States. ISIS says they will infiltrate terrorists with the refugees. The FBI and Obama's Director of National Intelligence say the "refugees" cannot be vetted for terrorist. From Redlands Townhall: "We need our council members to stand up for the safety and the protection of our own community to prevent refugees from the Middle East and African countries who are not adequately vetted from being put in our town." In case you missed the last Redlands Townhall meeting, here is a short video by James Simpson, author of "The Red-Green Axis, Refugees, Immigration and the Agenda to Erase America." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u4LfJXzQnw And that's not all the action happening at this Tuesday's City Council meeting! Join us at the city Council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, 6:00, 35 Cajon Street, and tell your city Council and your government what you want. This is one way we can help take control of our government. Public comments are near the beginning of the meetings. Redlands City Council priorities. Our own John Berry wrote a scathing op-ed in the Redlands Daily Facts last week excoriating the Redlands City Council for failing to protect its homeowners from FEMA's inept flood zone lines. The Redlands City Council--if it cared about something other than bike lanes, street art and solar garbage cans--could draw its own flood lines. Here's the FEMA op-ed John will elaborate on FEMA's inept flood zoning in Redlands during the citizen comment portion of Tuesday's city council meeting. Oh! We want to thank Azuza Pacific University political science professor Dan Palm for his insightful and wide-ranging talk during our Oct. 1 meeting. He wowed the audience with his profound knowledge of the American progressive/liberal movement. His points were many, but his coup de grace against any lefty logic (now THAT sounds like an oxymoron!) was how all leftist movements, if they get their way, result in tyranny. Our next meeting on Nov. 5 features Steve Stockman, a conservative Washington insider who last spoke to us in June. Because of popular demand, we're able to bring him back despite his traveling the country. He will address the 2016 election cycle and the importance of building coalitions.
