At her Senate confirmation hearing, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, nominated by President Donald Trump for Labor Secretary, addressed concerns over her pro-labor stance. Chavez-DeRemer supported the PRO Act which was designed to enhance labor protections for employees to collectively bargain and strengthen penalties "for employers that violate workers' rights.
