The U.S. House of Representatives issued a report yesterday proclaiming that Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook have abused their market power and called for government intervention.
It's notable, especially after the CEOs of those companies were grilled during a public hearing about their companies' business strategies and place in the digital ad marketplace.
As they said in the report: “To put it simply, companies that once were scrappy, underdog startups that challenged the status quo have become the kinds of monopolies we last saw in the era of oil barons and railroad tycoons." Read the full story.
