Advanced Manufacturing Tour and Cobot Demonstration Fife College is hosting an Advanced Manufacturing Tour and Cobot Demonstration at its Glenrothes Campus showcasing the most up-to-date industry technologies covering pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics and PLC control, all of which are modelled on industry-standard production lines, creating a realistic, relevant, and high-quality training environment.
There will be a demonstration session on Collaborative Robots (Cobots) from SP Automation with the opportunity to get hands-on and learn how to programme a Cobot to perform key tasks.

Tenant Protection Act Becomes Law Emergency legislation giving tenants increased protection from rent increases and evictions during the cost of living crisis has become law after receiving Royal Assent. New Workplace Initiatives Lead To Factory Jobs CR Smith welcomed seven new recruits to its manufacturing plant in Dunfermline this summer, who all joined the company through cross-industry jobs initiatives that support people into work.
In partnership with DWP Fife, Kingdom Works and Fife College, CR Smith helped to create a new manufacturing skills academy and work experience programme introducing people to roles in despatch, warehousing and production.
