Danny Kanell gambled on QBs, I made a blockbuster trade and Pete Prisco got BOOOOED. Our live mock draft on CBS Sports HQ was wild, so Ryan Wilson joined me to judge how we all did as GMs. Was Jamey Eisenberg's Seahawks pick really the worst of the draft? Dane Brugler also joins with the latest draft rumors and more.
We know Kyler Murray and Nick Bosa are getting picked early, but who else is a certain first-rounder? Jason La Canfora has a list of 24 Round 1 locks and it's bursting with tight ends. JLC says some people aren't convinced three will go on Thursday, but he is, while the only WR who'll definitely go top 32 might not be who you're thinking.
In 2017 a new record was set with 38 total draft-day trades. Last year there were 10 swaps in the first round alone. So what will make Thursday's draft any different? Cody Benjamin says NOTHING, so he's got nine Round 1 trades going down, headlined by the Falcons' big move into the top 5, and check out the deal the Vikings make for No. 13.

Four teams currently don't have a Round 1 pick: the Bears, Browns, Cowboys and Saints. Of course, there's good reason for that (they traded for studs named Mack, OBJ, Cooper and Davenport) but even in the draft, all is not lost. Chris Trapasso broke down how those teams can still come away with a strong haul; here's who'd be a home run pick for Chicago.
Let's put on our big boy pants and pretend to be Dave Gettleman. There are three paths the Giants can take in the draft, which I laid out here while yelling about hog mollies and gold jackets while attempting to impersonate the GM. The Giants have plenty of needs, which means they can go in any direction, even one that's not for the faint of heart.
Since the AAF shut down a few weeks ago, Ben Kercheval has spoken with lots of ex-players, coaches and staff, but one person who wasn't able to comment publicly was CEO Charlie Ebersol ... until now. Ben sat down with Ebersol for a Q&A, and you're going to want to hear what the CEO says about what actually happened and who was misled.
