Here's what making news in the New Orleans dining scene this week.

OK, maybe you shouldn't switch out your summer wardrobe for sweaters just yet, but after the year we've had in the Crescent City, a slight temperature drop calls for change. Here at WNE, change is always in terms of food, and we've got our eyes set on steaming cups of gumbo, pho, yakamein and soup. As were most events in 2020, Ocktoberfest was also nixed due to coronavirus, abruptly postponing a time usually dedicated to good company, delicious Bratwurst and refreshing beer.
