We’ve been fighting the Patriot Act, and the invasive spying powers built into it, for the better part of 6 years. One year ago today, we won a major victory: The Patriot Act expired, and despite Mitch McConnell’s and Nancy Pelosi’s efforts, Congress failed to reauthorize it.

Now, on March 15, 2021, we celebrate one year of the Patriot Act going dark by urging Congress to keep it that way.
