Hello from The Scotsman, I hope you're well-sheltered from Storm Eunice today, especially if you're one of our readers living in England, and that you didn't suffer too badly from Dudley earlier in the week. There's more to come, I'm afraid, on Sunday and Monday - it could be a weekend to stay in with a good newspaper and a mug of tea... First, we bring good news for our Digital+ subscribers this week. We've been listening to feedback, and have now rolled out advertising-free articles on our website, in addition to advertising-light section pages and homepages. What this adds up to is a faster, easier reading experience, further helped by less clutter on the page. In the coming weeks, we'll also be upgrading The Scotsman app, again making it easier and faster to use, and improving the live news service we offer there too. We hope this improves your experience reading The Scotsman. And, it's worth noting, all this development work is based on the feedback of users, so if you've filled in any of our surveys over the last year, thank you for your input.
