The Random Rows If I run this code in SQL Server 2019 on Adventureworks, how many random values are returned? SELECT TOP (10) be.BusinessEntityID , RAND (BusinessEntityID) FROM Person.BusinessEntity AS be; Answer: 10 Explanation: There are 10 different random vales returned. This table has the BusinessEntityID as the PK, so the value is different for every row. For RAND() the same seed value returns the same result, but in this case, we have different seeds, so different RAND() values.
