| Hi
Welcome back to the Lawyer Meltdown Newsletter!
I apologize for my absence; I know it has been a while since I've sent out a newsletter and thank you for your patience. I've experienced a great deal of change both personally and professionally over the past two years, including a year and a half stint as the Executive Director of the Suffolk Academy of Law (the arm of my county bar association that provides all of the CLE programs), as well as the death of my Dad earlier this year and some other family medical issues, all of which wreaked havoc for a while on my ability to write and publish on my regular schedule.
But Spring is a time of renewal, and I'm finally getting things back on track. I hope you find the newsletter to be beneficial to you and your practice - and I'm starting off this newsletter with a special bonus only for Lawyer Meltdown Newsletter subscribers - my Leveraging Your Articles checklist (see below for info on how to get it).
I have continued to work with my consulting clients through all of this, and am continuing to speak and do training for lawyers, bar associations, law firms and other organizations. You can see my calendar of upcoming events on my website events calendar, and I'll list upcoming events here in the newsletter as well.

This month's feature article talks about how you can leverage your articles to get more for the investment of time you put into them, but I've also got a special exclusive bonus just for Lawyer Meltdown subscribers:
You may have heard the advice that creating content can help you build your practice and the saying, âcontent is king,â so if youâve written an article â excellent! But donât stop there. Now is not the time to take a break.
Whether your article was published on your own website or blog, in another online location, or in a print publication, that article is valuable content that can be leveraged to reach even more readers, potential clients, influencers, referral sources, or even the media.
If you create great content and nobody knows about it or sees it, it wonât do much for your marketing or business development efforts. The more people who see your article, the more it will help build your reputation, establish you as an expert, boost your credibility and grow your network â all of which can help you build your practice and bring in business.
