Library Bookmark July 2016

Did you know?

That in the 2015 Community Perception Survey that the Town carried out, the Library was the highest rated service provided by the Town?

In total, 89% of respondents were satisfied with the current services provided by the Library.

View the survey results here.

Of course we think this is fantastic, but we are always open to suggestions for improving our service to you - have a chat to the Library staff next time you are in if you think there is something we can do new or better.

Local History Timeline Booklet

The Library has produced the third edition of its Local History Timeline, which covers significant events and activities in the area of the Town of Victoria Park from pre-European settlement to the present day.

It is intended to give a snapshot of the history of the local government area, and provide an interesting and valuable resource to our community.

The original was compiled by Lindsay Hunter in 2014, and this most recent edition has been revised by Loreley A Morling.

Pick up a copy from the Library front counter for $3 and learn a little something about the community you live in!

Housebound Readers

For library members who may be temporarily or permanently housebound, the Library operates a delivery service.

For further information, contact the Library on 9373 5500 or chat to the staff at the front counter.
