As a subscriber to our newsletter lightingCONTROL and a regular site visitor, your opinion is important to us. In recent years, developing a Control Intent Narrative (CIN) and Sequence of Operations (SOO) have grown in importance due to energy codes and commercial lighting rebate requirements. The IES introduced a lighting practice defining these important documents. The Lighting Controls Association is conducting a survey to determine roles and responsibilities related to these documents, how often they are used, and whether it would be useful to have an online tool that partially automates the process of writing them. If you design, specify, install, or sell lighting controls in building projects, please take our short (<5 minutes) survey. The results will be published on the LCA website. Thank you!
