At Litquake, our reach extends far beyond ourselves. Our mission is not only to serve our attendees and writers, but to create new friendships between partner organizations and connect diverse communities within Bay Area arts by bringing new audiences to new writers. Since our inception, Litquake has always been too big for its britches. A day-long festival became 16 days including international and ongoing programs like Lit Crawl and Elder Project, but the real seam-buster has always been our approach to collaboration and investment in Bay Area arts.
