| Reddit Considers New Political Ads Policy | |
Reddit has a reputation for being a contentious place in terms of political discussion, and it’s trying something a bit unusual by social networking standards for political ads this year. It’s trying to decentralize the conversation by forcing users who want to comment on an ad to share it in a subreddit before they can, and the crosspost will show where all it’s posted and it’s upvote/downvote counts. But Redditors aren’t thrilled with the development, especially because it puts the onus on unpaid moderators to manage the discussion.
