Living on One Rosa

Thanks to all of YOU who donated after watching Chris Zach, Rosa, and Chino in the film Living on One, we raised more than $300,000. These funds will be lent to entrepreneurs in Guatemala through our microfinance partner Friendship Bridge. Read an update from Rosa and the team in our latest blog post.

In microcredit, a little bit goes a long way. If ten of your friends and family donated $32, you could fund the average first microloan of WPF partner Friendship Bridge in Guatemala.

Because of a microloan, Rosa was able to launch a weaving business – selling her incredible handmade fabrics. Through the support of the Living on One community, her business grew and she was joined by 20 other women in the community to produce fabrics that are sold worldwide. Now Rosa has graduated from high school and is attending nursing school, with the goal of giving back to Peña Blanca by providing medical services to the community.
