Single-tracking on the Orange and Blue lines in downtown D.C. will continue through the evening commute after a morning electrical fire. Orange and Blue line trains will share a track between Foggy Bottom and Federal Triangle through the evening rush, while Silver Line trains will operate only between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston. Beginning at 9 p.m., all rail service will be suspended in both directions between Foggy Bottom and Federal Triangle.
