Local health experts sound dire warning over COVID-19
Local health officials said Sunday that the region that includes Sangamon County is "strikingly close" to additional mitigations for bars and restaurants as it combats another wave of COVID-19.Dr. Brian Miller, the president of the Sangamon County Department of Public Health's board of health, said residents of the county responded in May and June to knock the numbers down then and "we need to refocus and do it again.
