Will East Baton Rouge revamp the No. 2 position in its government? You decide.

Big decision: If voters approve a measure on the Nov. 5 ballot, the East Baton Rouge government would replace the position of chief administrative officer, which is appointed by the mayor, with a city-parish manager who would be confirmed by a majority vote of the 12-member Metro Council.

The proposed move is the most controversial on a list of changes to the parish's plan of government that voters will consider.
