COVID Lockdown Restrictions | The
Victorian State Government has declared there are only 5 legal reasons to leave
your home until Midnight Tuesday 20 July 2021. - Shopping for necessary goods and services (limited to one person per day, per household)
- Authorised work and permitted study
- Care and caregiving, including medical care and getting a COVID-19 test
- Exercise for up to two hours with one other person
- To get a COVID-19 vaccination.
Exercise and shopping is limited to 5km from your place of residence and face masks must be worn both indoor and outdoors.
Essential retail will remain open while non-essential retail can open for click and collect only.
Restaurants and Cafes: open for take-away only. Hairdressing, beauty and gyms: closed.

Anyone who has symptoms should get tested immediately. Visit the Coronavirus website for an updated list of test sites and the latest list of exposure sites.

Cash Support for Businesses During Lockdown | The Victorian Government will
provide new cash grants for businesses affected by the latest Lockdown.
Automatic payments will be made
to eligible businesses and sole traders to minimise delays.
Businesses that have and will receive payments through the Business Costs Assistance Program and Licensed Hospitality
Venue Fund relating to the May-June
lockdown will receive the new support payments of $2,000 (Business Support Fund) and $3,000 (Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund). Payments are due to commence over the course of next
week. Eligible businesses will include
restaurants, cafes bars, event suppliers, tourism and accommodation providers
and nonessential retailers.

Disaster Payment for Workers | Eligibility for the COVID-19 Disaster Payment will be made available for the period of the Victorian lockdown (five days). Payments will be made to individuals in a personal application (and not through your workplace).
Payments of $600 will be made to Individuals that lose 20 hours or more of work during the period of the lockdown (the next five days). Payments of $375 will be made to Individuals that lose between 8 and up to 20 hours of work during the period of the lockdown (the next five days) No liquid assets test will be applied to the payment at any time. COVID Business Requirements and Links | Make sure youâre adhering to the current COVID restrictions - All businesses must have an active, up-to-date COVIDSafe Plan.
- Keep accurate records and ensure your staff and visitors register their details for contact tracing.
- Every customer-facing business must use the free Victorian Government QR Code Service â¯to check in customers, workers and all other visitors.
- Download and display signage to remind people of the need to check in, and other safety measures.
- If you or your workers have even mild COVID symptoms, please get tested.
