A cracking Christmas fair at London's oldest botanic garden

How's this for an atmospheric backdrop to your Christmas shopping? Right now, the capital's oldest botanic garden is being transformed into a charming winter wonderland in preparation for its annual festive fair, and there's still time to get tickets!

Chelsea Physic Garden Christmas Fair takes place 23-26 November and brings together over 100 independent suppliers, including many London-based brands. From raw diamond jewellery by Mette Høj to Pedalshed's premium bicycle accessories, to fairtrade nightwear by Pajama Pantry, there's something for every single person on your Christmas list. But it's not all about the presents under the tree — to help make festive season extra special, there's also an array of festive food to stock up on (including hampers by Chelsea's own Partridges and The Carved Angel's luxury Christmas puddings), plus exquisite wreaths and other foliage-based decorations sold by Chelsea Physic Garden Growing Friends Volunteers.

With all that shopping, you're sure to work up an appetite. Fret not — bao buns, bratwurst, and crepes are just some of the treats available at The Physic Garden Café, where you can also pick up a cup of hot spiced tea or a warming mulled wine (hey, it is Christmas after all!) Click below to get your tickets for just £8 (or for free, if you're a Friend of the Garden).
