These are strange, scary times - and everyone across London, the UK and the world has had to readjust quickly.

Since coronavirus started affecting London seriously, Londonist have been proud to bring you news and reaction on the virus, along with ways to weather this weird situation by bringing London into your living room.

We've been blown away by how many of you have read our articles, watched our videos and sent us lovely comments.

Unfortunately, the institutions and events that keep us going as a business are largely on pause right now, making it very difficult for us to continue for the time being.

So we're going to take a little break. Have the proverbial pint in the Winchester and wait for all this to blow over.

And while we'd much rather continue doing what we do, when we come out of this at the other end (and we will), Londonist will be better than ever.

In the meantime, we're not disappearing altogether. We'll continue to share Londonist's greatest hits on our Facebook and Twitter, and carry on posting images of our beautiful city on Instagram, using photos our team has taken while out and about over the months and years (ah - remember being out and about?).
