Long distance no more; Longtime KTDY host leaves after 30 years on the air

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get down to the business news of the day.

Longtime KTDY 99.9FM host John "JayCee" Falcon made big news last week when he announced he was stepping down after nearly 30 years in radio in Acadiana. It was about 10 years ago when he met Shannon Redmond, and the two started dating until they hit a bump: Shannon moved to Pittsburgh for a job.

A 10-year, long-distance relationship followed, but they are long distance no more. They have an interesting story.

You can read the full story here.

Have a great day.
