February 2021 Hi Poet! | It’s been a hectic, but enjoyable, start of the year for the MailPoet team as we settle into our new work environment at WooCommerce and Automattic. |
As part of the onboarding process, each of us spent 2 weeks working as Happiness Engineers (customer support) for WooCommerce. The experience definitely pushed us out of our comfort zones, but was a great opportunity to learn more about WooCommerce and the different communication methods in place at Automattic.
We’ve also had some new Poets join the team 🎉 Rafael from WP.com helped us in Support before going on his sabbatical, and we’ve also been joined by some other folks from WP.com and WooCommerce. Say hello to Elvira and David, who are working on MailPoet Support, and Rodrigo who has joined our team of engineers. We’re really excited to see the team expand, and are grateful for the extra help 😊
