| Team DSM Women's program continued their good form by taking a sublime 1-2 finish in the prologue at Festival Elsy Jacobs, with Lorena Wiebes powering to victory and Leah Kirchmann finishing second.
The riders blasted around the streets of Cessange for the two kilometre long prologue, which featured a mixed bag of a parcours; with some technical sections, powerful straights and short, punchy climbs - the perfect terrain for the team to put their Scott Plasma TT bikes with Shimano disc brakes to the test. With the whole team producing excellent times throughout the evening, it was Wiebes and Kirchmann who topped the standings after setting the timing sheets alight, delivering a fantastic 1-2 for the team.
