The Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana has been doing some great programming lately, from its storefront exhibition of William Camargo photographs to a current online series of musical improv sessions. Called The Adjacent Possible, this project invites anyone (no musical experience required) to compose music online. It sounds very fun — and it’s free. Just make sure to sign up in advance.

In art exhibitions, Lauren Satlowski closes at Bel Ami this weekend, and The Black Index at UC Irvine recently launched its virtual tour. Both are worth checking out.
