Esplanade makeover: By now you’ve probably heard the Esplanade mall in Kenner has been sold. The new owners aren’t exactly sure what they’ll do with it, but they did let our Blake Paterson know apartments are in the plan. Lots of apartments. Metairie chases: Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were involved in two separate chases through Metairie since late last night. One of those pursuits included gunfire. Celebrity chef: A celebrity chef with one New Orleans restaurant is in the planning stages for a second eatery at a location in the CBD.
