Lou Kennedy appointed to SCRA board

Nephron Pharmaceuticals President and CEO Lou Kennedy has been appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to serve on the executive committee of the SCRA board of trustees. The nine-member executive committee is the governing body of SCRA.

The S.C. Public Service Commission has elected Florence Belser to serve as interim vice chair while Commissioner Justin Williams is on military leave. Belser joined the commission in February.

Bon Secours Mercy Health raising salaries for 14% of staff

Bon Secours Mercy Health has a new compensation model that means higher wages for 14% of its employees. The new model is “designed to enable its associates and their families to enjoy a dignified livelihood while working and in retirement,” according to a news release.
